1. About EarlyO
EarlyO ("we", "us", "the platform") is a jobs marketplace that connects childcare professionals ("Candidates") with early years employers ("Employers") in Ireland. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the platform at earlyo.ie.
By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility
You must be:
- Aged 18 or over
- A legal resident or authorised to work in Ireland (Candidates)
- A legitimately operating childcare setting or recruitment business (Employers)
You may not create multiple accounts or use another person's account.
3. Candidate Terms
3.1 What EarlyO provides to Candidates
- A profile and CV upload facility
- Automated matching of your CV against live job adverts
- A dashboard showing matched roles ranked by relevance
- Email notifications when strong matches are found
- The ability to save or dismiss job matches
The service is free for Candidates.
3.2 Your responsibilities as a Candidate
- You must ensure all information in your profile and CV is accurate and truthful
- You must not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or Garda vetting status
- Providing false information about Garda vetting is a serious matter and may constitute a criminal offence under Irish law
- You are responsible for keeping your profile and CV up to date
- You agree to our use of AI to parse your CV and extract structured data for matching purposes (see Privacy Policy §3)
3.3 CV and profile data
- You retain ownership of your CV and profile data
- By uploading your CV, you grant EarlyO a limited licence to process it for matching purposes
- Your CV and profile are never sold to third parties
- Employers can view your profile summary (not your CV file) if you match their advert
3.4 Accuracy disclaimer
EarlyO's matching is automated and may not be perfect. We do not guarantee that:
- All relevant jobs will be surfaced to you
- Match scores accurately reflect your suitability for a role
- Employers will respond to or contact any matched candidate

In summary, Employers agree to:
- Post only genuine, lawful job vacancies
- Not contact Candidates for any purpose other than the specific vacancy matched
- Comply with employment law, including equal opportunities legislation
- Keep Candidate data strictly confidential
5. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Use the platform to harvest contact details or build databases of candidates/employers
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform by automated means
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to disrupt the platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system
- Use the platform in violation of any applicable law, including data protection law
- Discriminate against candidates or employers on grounds protected under Irish equality law (gender, civil status, family status, age, disability, race, sexual orientation, religion, membership of the Traveller community)
6. Platform Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Take the platform offline for maintenance with reasonable notice
- Suspend accounts that violate these terms
- Remove adverts or profiles that breach these terms or applicable law
7. Intellectual Property
All platform content — including software, design, brand assets, and text (excluding user-uploaded CVs and employer content) — is owned by EarlyO or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
EarlyO's AI matching logic, scoring algorithms, and CV parsing outputs are proprietary.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law:
- EarlyO is not liable for any employment decisions made by Employers or Candidates
- EarlyO is not liable for the accuracy of job adverts or CV content provided by users
- EarlyO is not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of earnings damages
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you have paid us in that period (or €100 if you are a free Candidate)
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by Irish law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify EarlyO against any claims, damages, or costs arising from:
- Your breach of these terms
- False or misleading content you upload
- Your violation of any applicable law
10. Termination
By you: You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible. Employer payment obligations for published adverts survive deletion.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these terms
- We receive a valid legal request
- Your account has been inactive for 24 months (with prior notice)
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept changes, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
For consumer disputes, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
